Fresh eyes.

I´ve been coming here for so long I sometimes fear I no longer appreciate things as I did the first time around. What do I see and do that I would never see or do at home?

*Wait for a chicken to cross the road in front of me (seriously).
*Watch as a woman picks up a phone for the first time in her life and hears a familiar voice on the other end. She talks, then doesn´t know where to put the receiver.
*See horses and donkeys transport goods from one place to another.
*Drink a fresh fruit or vegetable smoothy each morning for $1.
*Eat guirilla.
*Be surprised if a ¨married¨ couple had a wedding.
*Buy a newspaper for 30 cents.
*Be encouraged to rest and nap.
*Smell the sacuanjoche flower.
*Be taller than most women.
*Hold babies that are just hours old.
